Before you travel • Do not travel to the airport if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 • Check the specific travel and entry requirements for your destination and your return to the UK before booking on the Government website • Ensure you have enough protective face masks for your journey – as a guide, one mask will last four hours • If you can, check in online or via the airline app At the airport • Temperature checks on arrival at the airport may be in place • There may be additional checks to ensure that only passengers who are travelling access the terminal • You will be required to wear a protective face mask at all times in the airport • Give yourself additional time and expect longer queues to adhere to social distancing guidelines • If you cannot check in online or via the airline app, use the self-service kiosks and bag drop • Airport facilities including food and drink outlets may be limited • Fast Track services may not be available • Use the hand sanitising stations that are situated throughout the airport Air As the skies open again and airlines welcome us back on board, we need to be prepared for things to be different than they were before.
